You will have heard that Verizon is no longer supporting Akon, and as a result of that is also no longer supporting Gwen Stefani´s tour in which Akon is a headliner. Gwen Stefani´s manager is surprised and shocked, he can´t see why Verizon wouldn´t want to have anything to do with Akon or any project he is involved with anymore.
He says: ´We´re just in the beginning stages of evaluating... We´re surprised and shocked they´ve backed out of it...Akon has been a perfect gentleman on this tour. His show has at best been a PG show. Children of all ages have been attending. We have had no complaints--nothing but satisfied people. And I would say that we´re shocked that Verizon would drop Gwen Stefani as part of this whole debate.´
So I guess as long as he doesn´t simulate rape with EVERY child he sees, then that´s okay right? I wonder how long it takes in showbiz to get your head so far up your own ass that you can no longer tell your hot performing meal ticket is damned near a child sex offender. Someone should do a study on that.
