What a week it has been in Hollywood! Everyone has been reeling at the news of Paris´ possible incarceration, and celebrities have been weighing in left, right and center with their opinions on the whole deal. It´s been so bad that I thought for a while there that we should just go ahead and call this the week of Paris, she´s been raising hell as usual, bitching about the fact that she is being held to the law of the land, and continuing to break it anyway.
Yes, you heard right. She received her 45 days sentence for driving on a suspended license, but she went right ahead and did it again anyway.. smart girl, no? Read more here
Of course, Paris has plenty of people to support her, and protests were organized this week to try and save her skinny little ass from the horrors of the penal system, see if you can guess how well those went... Read more here
Like I said before, it was almost the week of Paris, but Paris lost her top spot to Lindsay Lohan, who managed to pip her at the post by being caught snorting copious amounts of cocaine in the bathroom of a club. That´s what I always liked about Lindsay, she is so dammed classy.

Lindsay´s friends also managed to sell her out this week, telling everyone how she loves to brag about being a slut and sleeping with lots of famous men, and how she also enjoys stripping naked at social events and parading her breasts around for all to admire. You have to hand it to her, she is one hell of an entertainer on and off screen.
In other entertainment news, Britney continued her saga by stepping out in public looking as if she had been dressed by a schizophrenic person. At one stage she even teamed up her faithful cowboy hat with a pair of short shorts, knee high socks, and trainers. C´est tres bizzare.

Other stories that continued in saga like fashion included this whole deal with Akon humping the 14 year old girl on stage. Gwen Stefani´s people were shocked and horrified that Verizon would no longer sponsor her tour in which Akon was headlining. Funny that, they´re a telecommunications company, not an underground illegal porn dealer guys. It certainly doesn´t help their corporate image to be sponsoring that sort of scandal.

All this fuss eventually lead Akon to speak out and apologize for the incident, saying that he was terribly sorry about the whole thing and that he had no idea she was 14 years old. To be fair, the event was supposed to be 18 plus, and the girl in question was dressed about as provocatively as you can be dressed and still be in jeans. Shame on the parents! Shame on the club! Shame on Akon!
