Another week has passed in Hollywood, and its been mildly eventful. Things are starting to head toward a peak next week when Paris will be freed from Jail, and all hell will probably break loose. The fact that things are coming to a head with Paris hasn´t stopped any of the regular Hollywood hijinks and quirks though, so let´s review.
Pamela Anderson was struck with inspiration whilst contemplating her trip to Finland. She´s decided it would be quite an awesome idea to open a chain of strip clubs and call them ´Lapland´, a kind of homage to her ancestral homeland. I think that´s nice, it´s not often that you can mix history and dirty dirty adult entertainment. I am sure the people of Finland will be suitably flattered by her ingenuity.

Nicole Richie´s day of reckoning drew ever closer, with a trial date for her second DUI set in July. This is Richie´s second DUI charge, and if convicted, her second conviction. She may very well be facing some jail time just like her buddy Paris, who got 45 days just for breaching her parole terms. Nicole has gone one better and re offended, so it seems highly likely that another young Hollywood starlet will be dressing in orange soon.

Classing the week up was Britney Spears, and sex revelations from her short time lover, producer JR Rotem, who claims that he had sex with her wheelbarrow style, nay tractor style. This guy is a total fucking tool.

The rest of her week wasn´t much better either, as her comeback album was put on hold, and she was spotted drinking at a bar. Drinking wouldn´t usually be such a deal if she wasn´t supposedly in recovery after her little stint in rehab. She also managed to throw her train set during a shoot for her perfume, so it looks like she is tanking on all fronts. Luckily, Britney knows exactly what she´s doing, this is all just a big ploy to stage a really really big comeback in 2008, maybe.

Lindsay got a look in this week too, with reports from rehab saying that she is making really good progress and coming to some deep revelations about herself and her issues.

She is going to be staying in rehab a while longer to really work through them, though being a cynical gossip writer I am thinking that it has more to do with her not wanting the timing of her leaving rehab to coincide with Paris´ release from prison. It would be like nobody even cared about her, and she couldn´t have that.
Speaking of interviews, Paris gave a ´heartfelt´ one to Ryan Seacrest, saying that the jail experience had totally changed her life and saying that she wanted to use her fame in a good way from now on. I guess we will see how true that is next week when she gets out, and the media she is so down on right now is clamoring around her and making her feel like the special princess she is.
