Lily Allen arrested for assault

Lily Allen has been arrested for kicking the hell out of a photographer way back in March. We probably would have broken this story back in March, but nobody knew who the hell she was then really, and she only just got arrested for it the other day. Surely there is some statute of limitations of old men getting their asses beat by girls?
Scotland Yard says: ´At 9.30am yesterday, a 21-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment. She was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. She has been bailed to return on a date in late July.´
Scotland Yard, that makes it sound all so official, like Lily had been stealing state secrets, or channeling public funds to the Spanish Revolution. Everyone knows that paparazzi often need their asses kicked, so she should be getting a celebrity medal or something, not being hauled into court for assault.
Mind you, she is unlikely to get in any real trouble anyway, this is England remember, and they´re still pretty sore over that whole ´Princes Diana being killed by paparazzi´ thing.
