Just because youīre a celebrity doesnīt mean you canīt also be a stereotype. Hilary Duff is doing women everywhere a huge disservice by embodying the ībad female driverī stereotype that has dogged the fairer sex since Henry Ford invented the car, and his wife scratched it. (I donīt know if that actually happened, but like Gossip, History is totally fun to make up.)
But back to Hilary and her bad driving, which must be true, because she said it. Hilary confesses: īThe car I want is a Porsche Cayenne Turbo. But my business manager doesnīt want me to buy it - he says that Iīm a terrible driver and donīt need that kind of car. The other day I had a little accident because I was driving while I was on the phone. It was just a tap, nothing serious, so I thought, Iīll keep going itīs fine, whatever. But my business manager told me, īYou have to be careful, because people will sue you.ī So I need to be cautious.ī
Yes, there is the danger of suing, or hey, KILLING yourself or someone else. Damn blondes. Theyīre the best argument against evolution yet.
