Sure, the whole VMA thing was a bit of a mess, but Britney might be showing up on our screens just in time for the Emmy´s. According to some sources: ´The idea is to have her come on and apologize for the VMAs. She´s weighing the offer.´
Personally I think the idea is pretty damned retarded. She embarrassed herself in the VMA´s, fine, but why would you apologize for it? That´s ridiculous. She did what she could and that´s really the end of the story. It´s not like she is a five year old who got caught stealing stickers out of the teacher´s desk, she didn´t owe anyone anything, except maybe MTV, so why trot her out to apologize?
Britney´s sources are saying: ´I can´t say this is 100 percent not true. All I can say is that the Emmy people aren´t dealing with her record company, her manager or her agents at William Morris. So if she is doing anything for the Emmy´s then it´s not going through the official channels.´
Britney needs to stay the hell away from any public venues for a while. She has enough to worry about on the home front, and the last thing anyone needs is Britney getting her ass wasted again and wobbling around on stage at the Emmy´s making a complete fool of herself once more.
