Being a porn star is hard work, as anyone who has ever managed to watch a full length porn without getting too distracted to make it to the end can testify. (The actual number of people who have ever done this is probably quite low as according to popular rumor, most sex tapes hired from video stores are returned about 6 minutes into the action. Damn porn lightweights, this is why men have no staying power any more. Next time you get a porn, you make sure you finish it all. There are starving men without any porn all over the world, so be grateful for what you´ve got.) Back to the porn movies however, even if you do only make it a few minutes into the action, you´re sure to have noticed that there´s a lot of pounding, grunting and sweating, and at the end of the day there are sure to be aching limbs and genitals all around. For these reasons, most porn actresses don´t make it past a few movies at the most. Only a few brave souls make careers in the field, but even they must eventually retire. But what next? It is said that old soldiers don´t die, they just fade away. Do porn stars suffer the same fate? What happens to old porn stars once they hang up their tiny thongs and move into the mainstream world?
Well, if we are talking ex porn stars, then we have to be talking Jenna Jameson. Jenna only recently announced her retirement from porn, and it´s been quite a shock. As part of her big retirement, she´s had her ample breast implants removed and regained her natural breast size, so she is now a natural looking “C” cup. What will she do next? Apparently Jenna wants to focus on developing her own line of clothing, a comic book, and a movie biography of her life. She has been quite keen to rope starlet Scarlett Johannsen into the picture, something Scarlett has thus far refused. Jenna has remained firmly in the limelight with multiple public appearances, so although you might not be seeing her naked anymore, you can catch up with her in one of her many old films, including ´Jenna´s Playhouse´, ´Please Cum Inside Me´, ´I Dream of Jenna´, ´Up and Cummers 20´, and the other 140 or so films she made.
Linda Lovelace, the original porn star, how could we forget her? This woman who suffered so terribly to bring the controversial movie “Deep Throat” to screens across America. She was a true pioneer, even amidst accusations that she was violently coerced and had to be hypnotized in order to perform her deep throating feats, her status as the Queen of Porn can hardly be denied. Unfortunately, this was not something she embraced, due to the fact that there was allegedly a gun off screen pointed at her, and she was never paid a cent for her acting in the film. Later in life, Lovelace became an avid anti pornography activist and toured the United States speaking out against pornography. Where is she now? Dead, unfortunately. Linda passed away at the age of 53 years old after a car crash which caused massive lethal internal injuries.
Although not as famous as her predecessors, Sydney Steele got a raw deal, being dropped from the NY Bar Section Agenda after it turned out that she was not only a relationship consultant and author, but had also starred in over 200 porn movies, and retired in 2005. Her talk on "Sex and love -- making your time away from the office really count and how to not wind up as one of your clients." was canceled after certain attorneys brought up the fact that Miss Steele had been rather active in the porn industry. What it must have been to be a fly on the wall in those communiques, as dodgy lawyers tried to explain how they knew she was a porn actress without also admitting that they had bee watching such movies as “Wicked Fourgy of Whorror”, “Tits Ahoy”, “Eager Beavers 3”, “Behind the Anal door”, and many, many others.
