Also utterly loaded. Shakira has given away $40 Million dollars to help rebuild areas in Latin America that have been struck by natural disasters recently. I´m not sure exactly where those areas are, as they weren´t all that widely reported anywhere. I guess there´s just not enough oil or sexy topless women there to garner international attention on a grand scale.
Shakira says: ´I´ve seen first-hand many of the challenges facing Latin America. These are challenging problems that no one person can address, but working together everyone can help make a difference.´
Now, for a woman who is also a MENSA member, that´s a rather generic and garbled statement. She´s seen challenges that are challenging problems? I guess you get that when you have the problems that are challenging, because uh, you know, they´re pretty problematic, and that´s a challenge.
