There´s still a thing or two that Paris needs to learn about manipulating the media, and that is not to go near comedians who don´t give a damn. Paris appeared recently on David Letterman´s show, hoping to plug her new perfume and movie, but naturally, David´s questions all focused on the time she spent in jail. Paris had two options. One, answer the questions with some grace and dignity and steer the conversation towards topics she wanted to discuss, finishing the interview with style and boosting her popularity further, or two, become irritated, embarrassed, and look like she was about to burst into tears whilst swinging her leg so much that she looked like she was practicing her high kick. Guess which one she chose?
After answering a few questions about the food and how she kept her weight up, she´d really had enough of the jail talk. “I´ve moved on with my life, so I really don´t want to talk about it anymore.” Paris said, trying to evade David´s questioning, only to be informed by Letterman “See, this is where you and I are different, that´s all I want to talk about.”
“I´m over it.” Paris announced, before trying to play on David Letterman´s heart strings saying that she was sad she had come on the show, and pouting, to which Dave replied that he would buy her a parakeet, just minutes before drinking, yes drinking her new perfume. (Which was probably just water in the perfume bottle, but it´s much more dramatic if you pretend it was the real deal.)
