According to Criss Angel, the reason why Britneyīs VMA performance was lacking any magic was the fact that Britney decided that she wanted to go in another direction. A more drunken, less difficult direction. As much as Iīd love to slam Criss Angel, his story is completely plausible. What is it with Britney that she makes scumbag men look positively decent?
Anyway, speaking to OK! Magazine, Criss Angel revealed what really went wrong several days before that fateful night: īWe were supposed to do a creation of stuff that we worked on and it took a lot of dedication and work to do the things that we wanted to do. Basically I said, Dont worry about me. Do what you want to do. This is a big opportunity for you to do the VMAs, so if you dont feel it, go with something else. And she chose to go with something else.ī
One wonders if she decided to go with something else before or after he hypnotized her and banged her brains out. Allegedly of course.
