At least someone in the Winehouse clan has some sense. Before Amy bailed out of her tour altogether last week, her dad managed to run off at least one druggie loser guy, someone you might be familiar with who goes by the name of Pete Doherty. Pete was hanging around backstage at Amy´s concert, perhaps waiting for her to finish the concert, or more likely forge that she was giving a concert and just wander offstage to inhale some class A with him. Amy´s dad, Mitch was having none of that however. He is said to have told Pete to leave his daughter alone, and when Pete failed to get the hint, he smacked him over the head with a guitar.
A source said: “He told him to leave Amy alone, saying that he was the last person she needs at moment. Pete was smirking until Mitch turned and whacked him.”
