In spite of the fact that Amy Winehouse has brought new meaning to the word “trainwreck” with a string of performances that made Britney Spears´ VMA debacle look like a well honed Fred Astaire number, she has still managed to garner seven nominations for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. Amy has been nominated in the categories of record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, and best new artist, amongst other categories.
In other news, Amy also flashed her panties once more, demonstrating a preference towards a retro polka dot pattern, which seems very appropriate somehow.
Oh, and in still more Amy Winehouse news, even though she quit her tour in order to clean up her act, and in spite of her rep´s claims that she is not doing drugs, here are some more pictures of her looking like she´s been diving in a tank of powdered donuts. (By the way, if you happen to be Amy´s rep, and you´re reading this, I´d go with the ´tank of powdered donut´ explanation over any lamery you had planned.
