All eyes have been on Britney Spears as sheīs slowly gotten more and more insane, but it turns out that weīve been watching entirely the wrong celebrity. Videos of Tom Cruise have hit the web over the past few days, showing him extolling the virtues of Scientology and making claims that only Scientologists can help victims of motor accidents, amongst other things.
The Church of Scientology has reacted swiftly, causing most of the sites hosting the video to take it down, but one site, the Gawker, has refused even in the face of heavy litigation. You can find the link to the video below, but be warned, itīs incredibly scary. Tom laughs hysterically at odd moments, before getting a wild and fevered look in his eye as he repeats over and over how Scientologists are there to help people, and how only they can help people. We can bring peace and unite cultures, he says.
Truly, the man has completely lost it.
