Lindsay Lohan has finally given in and done a topless shoot, but surprisingly it wasn´t for Playboy, but for New York Magazine. The pictures are a recreation of a series of photos of Marilyn Monroe which are known as “The Last Sitting.” Kudos to whoever talked her into this photo shoot, because they really managed to mess with her head if her interview is anything to go by.
Speaking about the pictures, Lindsay says “Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.”
No Lindsay, here is a dumb blonde who has been convinced by a suave photographer that getting topless is ´deep´ and ´meaningful´, when in reality, all you´re doing is creating masturbation material for men and women around the world.
Still, if imitating Marilyn Monroe and feeling like there is some deep significance to getting her tits out is what she needs to get her through the night, I won´t begrudge her it.
